Irregular Verbs: breed, bring, build

He Bred A Puppy, It Brought Him An Idea, He Built An App
"My life was ordinary… until I bred the world’s most chaotic puppy", said one of my friends. "This furry tornado didn’t just chew shoes — it brought me trouble on a silver platter. And yet, in the middle of shredded sofas and midnight barking concerts, a thought sparked: What if chaos is just creativity disguised as fur?”
That’s when he built something new. Not another doghouse (though he needed one). An app. An app that turned disaster into destiny. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s meet the real stars: three irregular verbs that can make your English shine brighter than a puppy’s eyes.
Just a quick note — since this video lesson comes from my bilingual channel, you’ll see some Greek translations 🇬🇷 to support my Greek learners. But don’t worry! If you’re an international viewer, you can simply skip over those or just enjoy the beautiful sound of the Greek language while you learn!
Once upon a last-minute decision, he thought: "How hard could it be to breed a puppy? Dogs are cute. Puppies are cuter. What could possibly go wrong?" Well, everything. Instead of a golden retriever of calm, he got a chaos puppy — a whirlwind of fur, teeth, and conspiracy-level energy. This puppy didn’t just chew slippers. He bred chaos in every corner of his life. The neighbors still talk about the day he started a turf war with the squirrels. And yet, between cleaning shredded homework and explaining to his landlord why the curtains looked like lace, he learnt something: Chaos doesn’t just destroy. Chaos creates.
The Trouble It Brought Him
Here’s the thing about chaos puppies: they never show up empty-pawed. His, brought him trouble. Every. Single. Day.
He brought him mud tracks straight onto his white couch.
He brought him chewed mail he could no longer send.
He even brought him a neighbor’s shoe. (Don’t ask.)
But in between the headaches, he also brought him something else: ideas.
He started thinking… "if this dog can bring so much mess into my life, maybe I can bring something better out of it".
What He Built From It All
Fueled by equal parts chaos, coffee, and scratch marks on his soul, he did what no-one in his situation would do: he built an app. Not a dog-training app. Not a chaos-cleanup service. Something better. An app designed to help people turn their mess into momentum. Yes, his puppy had built a reputation for disaster. But him? He built a future.
Let’s Pause for Grammar (Before the Dog Eats It)

The Moral of the Tail (Yes, Tail 🐾)
Irregular verbs aren’t boring memorization drills. They’re living, barking, sock-shredding stories.
He bred chaos.
It brought him trouble.
But he built a future.
And you can too — whether you’re building better English, building confidence, or just building enough patience to survive your own chaos "puppy".
